When There's a Chill in the Air

November 6, 2018

Picture stepping out of a horse drawn carriage and into a room with a big, beautiful fire place and tables covered with cloths the color of red wine. The soft glow of candles are flickering on every table amongst sparkling metallic accents and gorgeous white roses that match the delicate snow falling from the sky. Your hands are warmed by a gold plated mug as hot chocolate with a hint of peppermint touches your lips as you sip the signature cocktail. Magical, right?!

Have you ever thought about planning your wedding for the winter months? Most people automatically plan to have their wedding in the summer, but there are some huge benefits to getting married in the "off season". Many venues will offer their services for a lower cost in the winter months, the band that you really want is more likely to be available, and you do not have to worry about you or your guests being sweaty and uncomfortable on your special day.

Winter weddings can be absolutely beautiful. Not only is it a chance to have a stunning snowy photo session, but it is also a time when a whole different category of decorating is acceptable! Think burlap, flannel, reds, golds, pinecones, and birch bark..the possibilities are endless!

Winter weddings can be extra special and very memorable. Anything unique that sets your wedding apart from everyone else's is worth considering! Contact our team for more ideas about how to plan your unique wedding!
